Hi AYSO Families,
I’m writing this from my “official Regional Commissioner office”… which is really just my kitchen table (coffee is full, paperwork is… getting there 😄).
I wanted to send a quick note as we head into the next season.
Registration for Fall 2026 / Spring 2027 opens Sunday, March 22 at 7:00 AM and closes Saturday, April 25 at 7:00 PM.
We’re really looking forward to another great year—seeing familiar faces, welcoming new players, and continuing to build something special here in Allendale.
💲 A Quick Note on Registration Cost
This season, registration will increase from $85 to $100 per player.
This wasn’t a quick or easy decision. Anytime we raise prices—especially in a community program like ours—we take it seriously and spend a lot of time thinking it through.
Our goal is simple: keep the program strong, sustainable, and a great experience for every player and family involved.
? One Important Reality (and where we need your help)
Every player will be waitlisted when they register.
The biggest factor in how many kids we can place on teams comes down to one thing:
👉 Volunteers.
If we don’t have enough coaches, referees, and team helpers, we simply can’t build enough teams.
That means some players will remain on the waitlist.
Volunteers are the backbone, the heart, and the soul of this entire program. This has always been a community-built league—and it only works because people step up.
If you have it in your heart—even just a little—to help this season, we truly need you.
You don’t need experience.
We’ll support you.
And it’s one of the most rewarding ways to be part of your child’s season.
👉 Volunteer sign-ups are open now and will close April 5 — after that, team spots become limited.
🚨 Big Focus This Season – Referee Respect
We’re also putting a major focus on AYSO’s Referee Abuse Prevention (RAP) Program this year.
At the end of the day, many of our referees are kids and volunteers from our own community—and they deserve a positive, respectful environment every time they step on the field.

We’re building this program together—as a community—and I truly appreciate all of you who make it possible.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out anytime.
Looking forward to a great season ahead.
